Birds of a feather.
The brief was to create a wedding invitation for an odd/opposite couple. I chose a DJ and a Zoologist (to focus on bird/aviary department). The envelope, with ‘breathing’ holes, represents an animal transport package. When opening envelope a netting has to be removed to uncover invitation – ‘release birds/couple starting new life together’. The experience continues as you have to ‘scratch’ the cd like a DJ to reveal info about the wedding. Illustrations, mimic the look of a bird encyclopedia. Two birds are ringed – the couple (they found each other between the masses). Copy and translation on images.
